About the show
As a fan of Cirque du Soleil shows and after reading so many flattering reviews of the show on the Internet, I was so excited to see Kà.
The word “Kà” comes from a concept in ancient Egypt. It represents a person’s soul or spiritual double. After seeing the show, the meaning of Kà resonates perfectly with the main plot: the main character’s journey to search for their true selves and their own places in this world.
Before actually seeing Kà by Cirque du Soleil, I had read many good reviews, both from famous reviewers and from guests. However, after seeing the show, I know those reviews can barely describe exactly what the show has to offer.
Kà by Cirque du Soleil delivers an excellent performance with many indescribable moments. The smooth blend of martial arts, acrobatics, and stunning stage design keeps me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Keeping the signature styles of all Cirque du Soleil shows, Kà also offers a unique visual and emotional journey thanks to its ancient concept and plot.
Kà can satisfy almost every person with tons of different tastes in entertainment shows. It doesn’t matter if you are into clever storytelling, strong stunts, or just want a memorable night out in Las Vegas.
It would be rude of me to go on and on about everything Kà by Cirque du Soleil, but I cannot stress this enough. I strongly, wholeheartedly recommend you see the show for yourself. The experience is too good to miss out on!
What we like
- Great adaptation of the concept to the plot. The storytelling style in Kà is both epic and intriguing. The meaning of “Kà” is consistent throughout the show. This proves that the producer team did a great job putting everything together. Kudos to the backstage team!
- Signature Cirque’s set design. Kà, like many other Cirque du Soleil shows, is a real treat for your eyes. The beautifully designed stage brings so many bonus points to the performance itself.
- Excellent acrobatics. There is no word that can fully describe the acrobatics skills of Kà performers. The strength and agility of the human body deliver flawless sequences that will put you in awe in no time.
What we don’t like
- Expensive. Yes, we all know that Cirque du Soleil shows are not really affordable, and Kà is no exception. This could be a problem if you have a tight budget.
- Hard-to-follow plot. To any first-timer to Cirque shows, you might be overwhelmed by the strings of performances that keep slapping your face. This leads to you losing the ability to focus on what the plot is trying to show.
Is Kà by Cirque du Soleil worth watching?
Yes, Kà by Cirque du Soleil is perfect for a night out trying to unwind in Las Vegas.
It is a true feast with excellent acrobatics, great music, a beautifully crafted story, and a well-designed stage and costumes. It has been on the list of top shows to see in Las Vegas for god knows how long. I see no reason to skip it while you are in town.
Is Kà by Cirque du Soleil family-friendly?
Kà is suitable for all ages. However, there are two things to keep in mind:
- Kids under the age of 3 are free of charge if they sit on their guardian’s lap
- Anyone below the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
Where to sit when seeing Kà by Cirque du Soleil?
The prices I mentioned below are for reference only. You should check the ticketing site for the exact price at the time you want to make a plan for Kà.
Any seat inside the Golden Circle (category A) costs around $229 per ticket. Category B is slightly cheaper, at roughly $142. Category C, D, and R offer the cheapest options, ranging from $100 to $130.
We know that those seats closer to the stage come with a higher price tag. So, if you’re saving up for more Vegas fun after this, go for the side seats. But if you’re a theater lover, front and center rows are what you should consider. You will get a nice view of the stage in these rows.
