There are some tricks to getting around the Las Vegas Strip without spending money and reducing the amount of walking. For instance, you can use one of the three complimentary trams that operate every 4 to 5 minutes, courtesy of the casinos. These trams are provided to encourage you to visit and participate in gambling, or to enjoy the various games, events, shows, shopping, and attractions Las Vegas has to offer. The free trams include the Aria Express Tram, the Mandalay Bay Tram, and the Treasure Island Tram.

ARIA Express Trams
There are three stops: Park MGM, Crystals shopping area (near ARIA and The Cosmopolitan), and Bellagio/Vdara. You can get on the tram at Park MGM by the ARIA entrance. It stops next at The Shops at Crystals, then goes to Bellagio and drops you off at the South Tower. On its way back, it stops at Vdara before returning to Park MGM. The tram comes every 7 to 10 minutes, making it a quick and simple way to move around the Strip.
According to MGM Resorts, the tram runs seven days a week, daily from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, subject to change based on availability. Some websites say that the tram runs up to 4:00 pm, but that’s not true, plan your day and be careful.

The Mandalay Bay Tram
The Mandalay Bay tram connects the Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. It operates every five minutes, with southbound trips going from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay and northbound trips starting at Mandalay Bay, stopping at Luxor, and ending at Excalibur.
The Mandalay Bay Tram runs seven days a week, from 10:00 am. to 12:00 midnight (next day).

Mandalay Bay Tram Station:
The tram station at Mandalay Bay is located at the casino’s northeast corner. To get there, go up the escalators and take a turn around the corner past Starlight Tattoo and the House of Blues Restaurant & Bar. That’s where the train boarding area is located.

Excalibur Main Tram Station
The Excalibur Tram station is located at the property’s entrance. You can reach it directly by using the street bridges from MGM Grand or New York, New York, without going through the Excalibur casino. Just look for the signs directing you to the Excalibur station.

Mirage – Treasure Island Tram
The tram connecting the Treasure Island Hotel and the Mirage Hotel runs every 8 minutes. However, it’s currently not in service due to the Mirage Hotel’s closure on July 17, 2024.
The tram runs six days a week, Monday – Thursday from 9:00 am. to 1.00 am (next day), Friday – Saturday from 9:00 am – 3:00 am (next day).
